I know I've said this before

Tomorrow I need to copy out all stories and photos that I've uploaded to Ancestry.com. I've said it before, but I need to cancel it this weekend. And this time the wife is making it stick. It won't be as easy to do in the software program I bought, but I will be able to continue the research. Mine is pretty much done. I have more digging I can do for my Grandfathers, but I have little hope of finding anything. The wife's I have a ton to go. Not really exaggerating when I say that her family history could go back 2000 years. Of course a lot of that would be myth, not reality. We can't prove anything beyond the past hundred years, not really. But this would involve semi mythical people like kings from Scandinavian Sagas that no one is really sure existed. But if they did, then there they are.

So tonight and tomorrow were and are being spent doing the last minute searches that I can only do online and copying the last bits of info out of the online database and into the local one. Most things came across, names, dates, events, title. Just not the stories or photos. Shouldn't be too bad. I'll miss the access to census records and government documents that I had though.
